I started at Las Vegas Enrichment Academy when I was in Kindergarten. Since then, I have faced some life-threatening medical challenges. I had to miss lots of school. I missed my friends, and I missed many lessons. The teachers here helped me to keep up by giving me individualized work and allowing me to do the work as I was able to do it. I stayed caught up up and never fell behind. My friends were very supportive often writing me cards and get well letters. They even were able to Facetime me so I could see them! They learned about my illnesses and never teased me. They loved it when I came back and still support me when I am not in school for medical treatment. My teachers and parents say that I am thriving and can do above grade level work. My parents also thank this school for being nurturing and caring, and for being a safe place for me to be. I love LVEA!
